The
back yard is 25' x 25' and is one big open area dominated by "grass" aka
weeds.
1.
We have a spa and want easy access and privacy.
2.
We have no place to sit outside in privacy.
3.
We need fences to control where the mutts dump.
4.
I want a koi pond.
5.
I want flower beds.
6.
I want a covered walk to the detached garage.
The shed covers the back door and the bulkhead door to the basement. There is room for a spa to the left of the back door and shed. The spa deck is already built.
The walk to the garage is open to the rain, ice and snow and has 4 steep steps. On the left the neighbor completely removed a big shrub and the lower limbs of the pine tree which left our yard totally open right out to the street. Then there is the 3' wide slab of concrete in front of the garage with the embedded clothes posts. Ugly. A second greenhouse is constructed on the garage.
The
other side of the yard must stay open so sun gets to the neighbors flowers.
But there is no privacy in the back yard. So I will build a sitting
area on the left front of the shed.
Not really a whole lot of area!!!
